In general terms the firm is a commercial and corporate law firm with a bias towards investment and banking law, Intellectual property (copyrights, designs, patents, trademarks, domain names registration and protection, plant varieties registration and presevation and protection).  We are legal consultants and are fully conversant with various securities available to financial institutions and other companies within Uganda. We have played and continue to play a significant role in advising, drawing, and registering of various securities for its client banks. We handle mediation, arbitration, Alternative Dispute Resolution(ADR) as well as litigation.

The firm has been engaged inter alia, extensively in major project finance where loans, suppliers and buyer's credits and other facilities have involved lending institutions and credit guarantee agencies from a wide range of diverse jurisdictions . We have acted for many of these institutions and agencies both in the private sector and in connection with commercial loans.
